The School of Life (TSOL) is a global organisation founded by philosopher Alain de Botton to help people lead more fulfilled lives. They offer classes, therapy sessions, organise events, and create products around the theme of emotional intelligence.

As Head of Design I led on all aspects of TSOL’s visual output, including:

  • Product – worked with the in-house marketing team and our external developers to overhaul both the retail website and The Book of Life, Alain’s articles on emotional intelligence, with modular responsive designs; also introduced TSOL app refinements
  • Retail – marketing campaigns, signage and interior design refresh for the London flagship store
  • Conference – created the visual language and design assets for the inaugural TSOL Conference including venue wayfinding, literature and merchandise
